The gl castle, by jeannette walls?

I read this book a while ago, and it was absolutely amazing. I cried at the end. Anyway, I need to do a project for school, and we need an autobiography for it. I wanted to do this book, but I wasn't sure if it could be considered as such. So..could it? Thanks, guys. =]
