Use of Bots On Runescape?

I hear people use bots on Runescape and I was considering using one. What is the worst Jagex can do to punish you. I heard that they could delete your account, permanently mute you, and even ban your computer from the Runescape site. I will make a separate account on a slow laptop to use the bot so if I got caught, it would not be a major loss. If you think this is a bad idea, please say so. Any other advice would be appreciated.
