United States worth living?

I totally agree with you. It seems this nation has lost focus on whats truly important for the good of the people. Sadly we are a nation of consumers, and we will act selfishly to get what we want. Our politics are also f****d. I honestly get tired of republicans and democrats always going head to head with each other instead of working things out as a collective. There are many things wrong with this nation, but it doesn't necessarily mean were 'doomed'. there is a lot of potential, especially for the coming generation to make a difference. to abandon this nation is the worst thing we can do. when things get tough you dont just give up. You can honestly make a difference and make that degree really mean something. There is work to be done, but i see the light! Believe in your country and believe in the people to help move this country towards prosperity!!!!
