What happens if i put a fake water damage sticker in my phone?

I have a Samsung Blackjack II from AT&T. The water damage detection sticker was half pink and half white. This happened after i wiped the back of my phone off with windex to get rid of the fingerprints. I already took the sticker out and I was wondering if I could put a little peice of white paper there so I can exchange my phone under warranty because my charger port cover is loose, the phone lags and changes between 4 bars of 3G to 1 bar of GPRS without even moving. Any other internal water damage detectors couldn't be disturbed because it has not been submerged in water. My replacement will be here in 5 days. i have gotten a warranty replacement phone before for a phone that was completely submerged and I took the sticker out. Should I put a new sticker/peice of paper or leave it blank. I told the rep it was white. What to do the replacement is on its way!
