Is it true people with medicaid get less medical help than people with HMO's or other private health insurance?

I am 20 and currently on medicaid. I use to have a health insurance like HIP and I feel like, because I have medicaid that I am getting less medical help from doctors than if I had another health insurance company. I was dropped off my mothers health insurance, who works at a hospital, because I was a part time student do to some problems I was going through. I feel like doctors are less attentive, and are half A$$ing their job, because of my health insurance. When I show my health insurance card to the receptionist I feel like i am being looked at funny. I just wanna know if its me being paranoid or I am getting just as much medical attention than someone with a non medicaid health insurance?
