How do you change head gaskets on a chrysler new yorker 3.5l v6?
you have to pull the whole entire top of the engine apart to do this, and it takes a lot of specialty tools to do it with ,if you don't own them its better to have someone do it that does have them,by the time you bought all the tools it would take to actually do this job you could have had a repair shop fix it and still come out a lot cheaper, its not an easy job to do and you have to have the heads checked to see if they are warped, and if the are have then resurfaced, you just cant replace a gasket on it and it be fine again,if you do it wont last to long until it will blow another head gasket then your out the same amount of money again on it,point being if you have never done this before id have it done its not a job usually for the home mechanic, good luck.
