Why didn't the papa shango gimmick last long if he was so popular superstar and fought top the athletes?
We all know about Kama's first successful gimmick, Papa Shango. All I have to say after seeing this guy's entrance on video is yikes. He scares way more than the undertaker ever could. Go check him out on youtube. He even has a match against the undertaker when the undertaker was more spookier when he first came, and shango still looks a whole lot scarier at least as far as the entrances go. That guy gave me the creeps especially when you're looking at all that crap hanging over his back during his entrances and all the s hit over his arms and stuff. I would not like to see a guy like that at midnight. Anyway, it says that Shango was a popular heel and even feuded with top superstars like Hogan and the Warrior. If that was so, how come the gimmick didn't last that long. I'm not sure when the gimmick ended but it couldn't have lasted that long because apparently it was started in 1992, and then I remember him known as Kama in 1995. What's up with the "Papa Shango" gimmick?
