I have been wearing leave-in contacts for months at a time and I never take them out?

Is this a problem. I got the kind that you are supposed to be able to leave in for up to a month and I never ever take them out except when I change them to a new pair once a month. I mean my eyes actually feel better when I leave them in then when I take them out..because they can get dirty when you take them out and they always sting when I try to clean them. I just don't want to ruin my eyes any. I'm already practically blind so that's another reason why I don't take them out. Im thinking about getting some gles so I at least have the option of taking them out and not being totally dysfunctional due to blindness. Anyways, question is am I damaging my eyes? Also does eyeshadow/mascara cause your contacts to blur alot? I started wearing a new kind of eye shadow and it feels like it could be clouding my contacts. It could slide down my eye and into my contacts. Or would it just be allergies? Cuz I sometimes forget to take my eye makeup off and at night it gets really blurry!
