Twinges down there.....?

I am expecting my period in a couple of days, I took an hpt but its was negative, I think it may be too early. Anyway, I am feeling extremely bloated and my bbs are tender (not sore, just heavy and tender) and I am experiencing these sharp twinges in the very low abdomen, near my l entrance. Is this normal or familiar in your experiences? Also, my bbt was EXTREMELY high this morning - my cover line is 36.3 and when I ovulate it usually goes up to 36.4, this morning was 36.7.....
