How do I change my calculator...shows 5.x10^-03 when I want it to be just a decimal?

I suspect the scientific notation is the result of there not being enough available digits on the readout to show the answer as a decimal.

Burning stomach!? please help!?

about mid day yesterday i started getting this burning sensation about midway between my ribs and my belly on in my stomach. thought maybe it was gas or acid reflex or something. i have a Dr's apt later today for an ultrasound and i'm not supposed to be eating or drinking anything until an hr before my apt time. so i can't take anything for it. well last night it started to make me feel very nauseous. like if you have an upset stomach and you get that feeling deep down in your stomach and it stops right at your throat before you puke (sorry if tmi), well that's what it feels like except it stopped right under my ribs! i went to sleep thinking it'll p by morning. i wake up and stand up and it came back! sat down inside the truck to drop my husband off at work and few mins down the road and it seemed to disappear. then when i stood up to come back inside the house it came back!!! pressure on the area makes it worse. i don't like feeling this way at all! what is going on? what could cause me to do this??

i have always ad normal periods but have been trying for a baby for quite a few years and nothing happened docs say i av unexplained infertility and they wont but me on any fertility drugs because i am ovulating fine and they say it might reverse it so they put me on the ivf waiting list.Anyway so i started doing my own enquiries into helping me concieve so i bought some agnus cactus (vitex) since i have been taking it i have had funny periods . has i said b4 i always come on every month normally give a day or two but now my periods are not regular. What happens if i put a fake water damage sticker in my phone?

I have a Samsung Blackjack II from AT&T. The water damage detection sticker was half pink and half white. If her 9 year old sister is rude, I could do the same (wash baseboards, clean mirrors, dust bookshelves, etc.). But is this form of discipline reasonable or is there some drawback I don't see? I was thinking of having a list of all the non-routine chores and then having them choose one, or should I chose it for them? Currently, I send them to their rooms where they read and play and that annoys me because they like it too much and it isn't teaching them anything.

1986 Plymouth Conquest TSi Vin N?

I own an 86 Conquest that i got for a steal at $1900 and it's pretty minty fresh. It only has 103,000 miles on it and everything is all original. It has a few minor spots of rust but nothing at all for an 86, the frame and underbody is solid. But down to the point:) I was driving it home from buying it and the guy told me it had a rod knock and that i should sent the crank out soon to get machined and then fitted with oversized bearings. Well aboot a half hour or so of driving, a tiny knock turned into a huge conundrum riddled with plumetting oil pressure, severe turbo lag, and the most ungodly knock ever. I pulled over to check what the hell was up. It managed to overheat because of a loss in oil because a quart or more was gone. Well i decided to spend the $60 to rent a uhaul trailer the next day to stop from hurting her anymore. So after that me and my dad thought the oil pump went out. I took off the valve cover to notice some adjustment screws missing but learned that these were just for the jet valves. We tried adjusting them and noticed that the penger side rockers and one drivers side rocker weren't spitting oil. We further took the rockers off to find that the valve adjustment plugs (i like to call them spring loaded jelly beans) were solid and just knocking on the valve springs, this was the knock. So i bought 8 new ones for $20 a piece, thinking i had the problems all solved. They came the next day and i put them in. I put it all back together and noticed that it would knock, then stop, then knock again and so on. So dad takes the oil cap off to feel the pressure and it's like a damn exhaust pipe on the top end of my motor. There is a pretty plentiful vent of air pushing out of the valve cover. So, we boiled it down to either valves, valve seats, piston rings, or the pcv valve. I took the plugs out and they are all fouled black as hell from burning oil, but it isn't enough for the exhaust to blow smoke, but it does burn oil and it either leaks in through the valves or past the rings. I tested the compression on the rear piston but it was 75 the first time and then 100 the second time. I know that can't be right at all. I figure it's supposed to be around 200 but i'm not sure. Does anyone know how many foot pound of compression i should have per cylinder? I'd like input on this because I can't find any help online and i can't find a repair guide even though that wouldn't help much. Someone told me it could also be some worn seals in my turbo, causing air to run through the oil lines and come out in the valve cover, but i think my compression test shows it's a ring or valve problem. Also, what's the difference between the Vin H model and the Vin N? I feel like and idiot for asking but is there a difference besides a letter? Thank you for any help:) I just really need to know the numbers for my compression in each cylinder. I'm checking all 4 cylinders tonight. Thanks

Is it always recommended to have a rabbit neutered?

I adopted a male rabbit a month ago and he's now 8 months old. He's lovely, very cute and gentle but also very jumpy and nervous. He had is myxo shot 2 weeks ago and his VHD yesterday. I intended to have him castrated as I've heard it can help make them calmer and cleaner, and that it's better for them. However, the vet yesterday told me that rabbits are happier with their testicles and that I should only neuter him if he's aggressive, humps a lot or sprays- Which he isn't/doesn't. Now I don't know! He wasn't handled at all by the people who had him last and although he doesn't spray, he's not as well toilet trained as I'd like him to be. He's very nervous and jumpy and doesn't like to be handled, sometimes getting out of his hutch for a cuddle and to check for fly strike is a struggle and I worry about hurting him when he struggles so much. Of course I always make sure his bottom is well supported. He has a crazy-huge sized hutch in my garden and eats plenty of gr and veggies and he loves playing with my cats and always has the run of the garden when I'm home. He fathered two litters before but I won't be breeding him at all. I'm just torn in two about whether or not to castrate him!

1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Viscous Coupler Additive ?

Folks, I have a 1994 GCL V8 with the AWD and infamous viscous coupler.... just replaced both front axles and rebuilt the drive shaft, and the viscous coupler is still binding, grinding and hopping a wheel when hot on turns that are getting less and less tight. The last thing I want to do right now is replace the viscous coupler. There was an episode about ancient UFO's (not sure if it was UFO Hunters or not) and I need some help finding more information about an episode... I am 20 and currently on medicaid. I use to have a health insurance like HIP and I feel like, because I have medicaid that I am getting less medical help from doctors than if I had another health insurance company. you have to pull the whole entire top of the engine apart to do this,and it takes a lot of specialty tools to do it with ,if you don't own them its better to have someone do it that does have them,by the time you bought all the tools it would take to actually do this job you could have had a repair shop fix it and still come out a lot cheaper,its not an easy job to do and you have to have the heads checked to see if they are warped,and if the are have then resurfaced,you just cant replace a gasket on it and it be fine again,if you do it wont last to long until it will blow another head gasket then your out the same amount of money again on it,point being if you have never done this before id have it done its not a job usually for the home mechanic,good luck.

Computer Sound Card Wont Record?

It sounds like you are trying to make your sound card perform both record and playback simultaneously. In most cases an on-board chipset (AC97, Realtek, etc.)... I don't think it can handle it. You could try running an 1/8 TRS - 1/8 TRS cable from stereo out to mic in..... But I don't think that will work for you as the mic input will not be stereo. I am not familiar with Audacity, but in Pro Tools, Cubase, etc., you can mixdown your sessions. I'm sure that Audacity performs the same way. Though I don't think it will let you modify the 'session'(mixdown) in realtime. You could try outputting it to a second host such as Wavelab, using it as a 2 Trk master. Good luck.

Im a 21 year old college stdent and I looked back onto my high school yearbook and saw how I had a jock type life, a girlfriend and friends. Now reflecting on my current day life, I'm a slightly overweight single fraternity guy who is great at giving people advice but represses all emotions and concerns to myself and I think Im reaching that point where I'm tired of playing off as the guy who has all the advice for the world except myself. Even the "frat boy" title doesnt even seem to boost my ego up and I dont know what I can do to shed some light on myself

With all the child abductions i think it should be compulsory for children to?

The real solution would be for child abductors and molesters to get a death sentence or life sentences in prison forced to wear pink jump suits. Convicts in prisons do not like child predators at all and force them to do many unspeakable things that are degrading. And unfortunately a criminal selling dime bags of drugs gets a lot more time in prison than a child abductor or molester. I think this is backwards.Society needs to drop the hammer on ual predators! But unfortunately far to many law makers are guilty of indulging in ual crimes with minors and therefor don't want tougher laws in case they themselves get caught in the act. Maybe one day we as a society will build a back bone and push law makers into enacting tougher laws. Putting a tracking device in a child is not the answer when there are simple scanning devices that can locate them for removal. Enacting VERY strict laws like mandatory life in prison wearing a pink jump suit, the electric chair, castration would sure help deter this problem!

I have just programmed a Cisco Pix 501 with basic settings but no pwords as yet. I want to use the PDM but it asks me for a username and pword twice. The first time I just hit enter and it takes me to the next stage, it asks me again for username and pword but when i press enter it say authentication failed. Can anyone tell me what the default pword and usename is or do I have to enter such things first to be able to use the PDM. I get the PDM splash screen etc.

I love this game but the cons are when you play on advance which i do YOU can never break out of a submission in career mode or its just me. And its hard to freaking get up when you land on the ground. Another con is when a boxer puts you in a single collar tie its so hard to get out. Defrosting pureed chicken for baby?

The fats most likely have separated in the chicken to change the consistency. I always have an issue with defrosting meats, and I prefer not to use the microwave. I usually mix it with some other vegetables or pureed brown rice for my son and he eats it all up. I still freeze the meats alone though, and then mix before serving with something else. I like everything nice and separated, but that's a personal preference.

always heard the theories that the NFL is fixed, i mean im not really sure, but i do believe that certain big market teams got the favor sometimes. I mean cowboys and patriots got a lot of close call on their side, but it didnt really help them in playoffs. Ok this is gonna sound very VERY weird but i need opinions. Plumbing questions, for Floridians about pvc cement and check valves?

well for starters there is two different types of pvc. There is pvc (white in color) and cpvc (yellowish in color). So pvc is the more common used and they make a pvc cement and also a pvc cleaner/primer (purple in color). I recommend that use use the primer prior to gluing any pieces to together and prime both pieces that you are connecting. after applying primer and letting it dry you are now ready to glue your pieces together. Apply glue to both pieces you are joining together and connect them together and when you have pushed them together twist the pieces left and right and back to however you want the pvc pieces positioned together. The reason for twisting the pieces left and right is to improve adhesion of glue between the two pieces keeping in ming that the glue sets up quickly so you must be quick about it. I have been wearing leave-in contacts for months at a time and I never take them out?

Is this a problem. I got the kind that you are supposed to be able to leave in for up to a month and I never ever take them out except when I change them to a new pair once a month. I mean my eyes actually feel better when I leave them in then when I take them out..because they can get dirty when you take them out and they always sting when I try to clean them. I just don't want to ruin my eyes any. I'm already practically blind so that's another reason why I don't take them out. My boyfriend and i have been going out for a little while now and he is really great and I like him a lot. The only thing is that he is less experienced with the physical aspects of relationships than i am. He has only ever really made out with girls while i have done pretty much everything following that. Whats happened to me, i feel awful and hopeless? I used to be so popular!?

Im a 30 year old man and have smoked weed nearly everyday for 9 years and smoked it weekly 5 years before that. About 5 years ago i loved it and all i needed was to come home from work and have a few spliffs. I was devastated and turned to drink and drugs to make me smile. How can I get my external hard drive back to its original size-->200gb?

I mistakenly used my external hard drive as the destination for a clone. Now it's a measly 37.2gb (the size of the source disc/an old IDE hard drive). I'm using Acronis software and I thought I was simply making a clone file I could then use to make another IDE HDD. I'm going to use a new IDE HDD and a double ribbon cable now for the clone but how can I get my external hard drive back to the original 200gb as it was before?

Why do my halogen "puck" lights keep blowing?

Only can think of a couple of reasons for this to happen. One being that after three years the socket could be going bad from all the bulb replacements and heat that was generated. The other being the brand of bulbs. If they are a bargain pack, they may be inferior. All bulbs are not equal. Check the voltage at the bad socket to see if you are getting constant power. If they seem good you could try putting them on a dimmer or get a lower wattage bulb. My guess is that there is a wiring issue at the first puck you mentioned, either at the socket or link to others on the strand.

My parents will be gone all day and I will be attending online school, so I'll be home all day for them for about 2-3 months. After that, I'll be going back to high school for the second semester and be getting home at about 3 everyday besides weekends. Is leaving them home alone okay for them? Why won't I let my boyfriend touch me?

Every time he tries to touch me (ually) I automatically push him away. I have no problem touching and doing stuff to him, but for some reason I won't let him do anything to me. Although the house was completely vandalized it made me appreciate all the great memories even more than I was a child growing up, Because even if the vandals ruined my house, they could never take our memories from us. The fondest memory about my house was always having friends over after school, or over for long weekends and study dates. Everyday after school we would run home just to go to my house and have endless talks in my room about our everyday lives.We learnt so much about each other over those years, my friends and I became more like family. Since they were always over they would constantly admire my house because it was so clean and taken care of, they Often referred to it as the best looking house in the neighbourhood.Which I would never argue Looking at it now most people would disagree because it is a repulsing peach color, but back then when we actually took care of it everyone in my family would look for an excuse just to go over. During Thanksgiving it would smell like baked pumpkin pie, and freshly cooked turkey.the best holidays were birthdays. OK i know if you have a layer of fat covering muscle you wony be able to see it....but here is the thing. When i wave or rest my arms my tricipes are flabby and i have "bingo arm". Now when i flew my muscles are toned and my arms donnot shake. My beceips have no problem being toned...relaxed or flexed. But for some reason my triceips look like crap until i flex...then they ovcourse look greart and show off my hard work. I am 39 weeks 4 days pregnant. At my last appointment last tuesday I was 1cm 50% effaced. For the last few days I've been having bad back pains that I'm pretty sure are due to constipation. Can you still have gallbladder surgery even if you've just been diagnosed with c diff?

I have had severe pain from gallbladder malfunction for the past 7 weeks. I've been to the ER 8 times for complications and, two days before the surgery for gallbladder removal that the doctors finally decided I needed, I became violently ill. The stool sample they took showed up positive for c.diff, which I have had before, but I'm still not sure that that is what I have. Seems slightly ironic that I have major gallbladder issues and suddenly have c.diff symptoms again. My main question is: Can I still get the gall bladder surgery done so that at least some of my pain can be remedied? And my next question: even though an initial test shows positive for c.diff, does that mean that it IS c.diff or just an educated guess and it could still be something else? I have just started flagyl and the surgeon still wants me to come in tomorrow for the surgery, though she is uncertain that it will actually be performed. The c diff test came in 24 hours after the sample was run and I thought it took a few days for those tests to come through. I am desperate to have this surgery for, although it is a non emergency, it still is affecting my quality of life drastically. Im on daily percocet and have a difficult time going into work, which means my children suffer and my mortgage payments arent looking too good right now. Please, any information would be greatly appreciated

Spotting with placenta increta?

I am 34-35 weeks pregnant, baby is measuring 6lbs 5ozs already, and I have placenta increta and high amniotic fluid. I have been spotting, and my doc says its not good, but I'm not bleeding heavily so I can continue on bedrest at home. She says the blood vessels are infusing which is causing my spotting. I'm still a little worried though and would like to know if anyone else has been through this and what my chances are of bleeding heavily before my c section? I will be getting a hysterectomy as well. I am very scared because I know there is a chance I could bleed to death, and everytime I go to my doctor I feel as though she is nervous/scared herself. She has gotten fully prepared by having everything already ready, but everything is still makin me nervous.
